I’m a woman who sees education as more than degrees—it’s food for both the body and soul. I love surrounding myself with beauty, whether it’s buying pretty things, tasting the world through exotic foods like Escargot or Egusi, or recharging through travel and swimming. And if you know me, you know I can’t resist a deal. I get just as excited flipping finds from a clearance rack or warehouse sale as I do discovering treasures—from beads to furniture.

My journey into the bead business started with my younger sister, Kimberly. As she shifted from the 9-to-5 grind to homemaking, she tapped into her gift for design. She became my first customer and I, her biggest cheerleader. That moment lit a spark in me—one that grew into a passion for helping other designers turn their creativity into something profitable.

I already had my degree in Business Management, but I didn’t stop there. I went back to school and dove deeper, studying International Business, Marketing & Promotions, Fashion Design & Merchandising, and Retail & Wholesale Merchandising. Those courses, along with the wisdom of my instructors, gave me the tools to understand not just fashion, but how to build and sustain a business. I learned how to provide products in a way that could thrive—without needing a storefront or even showing my face what they now call “faceless”.

At my core, I’m someone who loves learning, creating, and helping others win. What started as a family connection has turned into a mission—empowering designers everywhere to take their passion and make it profitable.

My entrepreneurial journey caught the attention of Alibaba, Wish, and more recently Shein and Temu. It opened doors to license deals that others imitated and replicated. I wasn’t just building a business—I was building a brand with the strength to thrive, sustain, and stand the test of time.

As my brand grew, I noticed others began to mimic what I was doing—without credit, accolades, or even a thank-you. And that only fueled me more. If people were copying me, it meant I was creating something valuable, something that mattered.

This wasn’t knowledge passed down from family, friends, or mentors. It came from education and from teachers who once wished they had the power of tools like social media and the internet. I took those very tools and used them as my passport across the country and beyond—turning the internet into my vehicle for travel, marketing, and connections.

Armed with nothing more than a reliable phone, I mastered the art of timing, learned the algorithms, and created content that reached audiences far and wide. What others paid for in advertising, I learned to achieve freely—anytime, anywhere—simply by leveraging the digital world as my open highway.
